TravelPress
is a WordPress theme that works well with
travel websites due to its unique layout that is easy to configure from the
back-end while giving the front-end reader plenty of content to digest. This
theme has a full width custom page template, plenty of space for ad banners and
widgets, plus a complete shortcodes collection that lets you insert alert boxes
and program columned text easily.
TravelPress is not your typical
travel site theme when it comes to overall layout. The format tends to blend in
and out of various categories on the homepage and allows the reader to choose
which sections are most important to him/her.
Beginning
with the logo and top navigation area, you’ll notice that there is a main
header with your site’s most important pages (drop down menus are used for
sub-categories) and then an additional bar that can be shaded a different color
via the Control Panel. This layout gives the travel site visitor a slew of
options to consider and have access to from the first time your site is
visited.
