Hi, friends are trouble connecting internet on PC through your Android Phone. Here is the simple solution. You just need to download thetherxp.inf file and edit with your device ID, show the tetherxp.inf file to driver updation .
STEP 1: Download tetherxp.inf file here
STEP 2: Connect your Android Phone using enabled USB tethering on your PC.
STEP 3:Open your device manager [Start -> Run -> devmgmt.msc] .Here you can see your device.
STEP 4: Double click on it or else right click on and select property on which switch to the Details Tab. To get your device ID select Hardware Ids from the dropdown box, copy this ID.
STEP 5: Now open the downloaded tetherxp.inf file in worldpad or notepad. Find out the line [AndroidDevices.NT.5.1], create a new line below this [AndroidDevice.NT.5.1] add a line containing your Device hardware ID shown in the image

STEP 6: Go back to device manager, Update your driver select ‘ browse for driver software on your computer ‘ , select the location where you have saved the tetherxp.inf file.Finish the installation.

You have successfully hacked the inf configuration to enable tethering in your device. Now Local Area Network connection appears in your network connections.
